Uses Nemadectin is the dominant member of a class of milbemycins bearing unsaturated longer chain groups at the 25-position. Nemadectin shows pronounced nematocidal and insecticidal activity. Nemadectin is the starting material for moxidectin, a commercial anthelmintic.
