AC-LYS-OH Usage And Synthesis
Chemical Properties Nalpha-Acetyl-L-Lysine is white to almost white crystalline powder
Uses Nalpha-Acetyl-L-Lysine is an antibacterial lysine analogue that targets lysine riboswitches. Nalpha-Acetyl-L-Lysine is used in the metabolomic characterization of ovarian epithelial carcinomas which allows fo r better therapeutic management of patients. The presence of Nalpha-Acetyl-L-Lysine and other N-acetylated amino acids in the urine can be used to detect aminoacylase I deficiency.
Definition ChEBI: An acetyl-L-lysine where the acetyl group is located at the N2-posiiton.
