• Fluorescence grade zinc sulfide (ZnS) powder is white to pale or light yellow powder and its color will be darker when it is exposed to light. It is stable in dry air and it will be oxidized to zinc sulfate gradually when it is exposed to light for a long time or contains water. It is soluble in dilute mineral acids and not soluble in water or aqueous alkali, and pungent. Its relative density is 3.98 (α type), (d25)4.102(β type). It is mainly used in color kinescopes, basic luminescent materials, pigments, coatings, plastics, rubbers, friction materials and other fields.

It is faint yellow or yellow green and can be other colors accoding to the needs, such as blue,  green, yellow, orange, red and so on.
